We're temporarily moving into a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment, a little less than a mile from the vegan mini mall, a half mile from a whole foods, and super close to many great eats!
We have put an offer in on this, but it's bank owned, and it's taking what seems like forever for them to respond to our offer. This is also a one bathroom, not the easiest thing to do with 4 people in the house, but there's room for another. We're excited about this old turn of the century fixer. I hope we get it. If not, our apartment will be fun and interesting. It's been awhile since I've lived such a city life, in an apartment, with walkable things to do. I'm a little nervous about it, but I think the kids are going to love it. There are a few playgrounds nearby.

I hope you get it too. it is so cute! but, if not there will be another better one I am sure! Now I have to come back so I can see the apartment!

The apartment is nice, a bit smaller than we're used to, but that's not a big deal. The lack of water pressure in the kitchen sink drives me crazy. I feel like my life has turned into nothing more than slowly doing dishes all day long. There's no dishwasher.
As for the house, we heard back from the bank. They are being stupid. They counter offered, but put in there that they want to be able to continue to market it and sell it to someone else if they come along with a better offer. WTF? No way! We are now waiting to hear back from our counter offer to their counter offer. The game continues.
